Our inspiring mom feature is the woman behind the  Rent-a-Tula PH.

Her name is Lesly Piamonte. She has 2 beautiful daughters named Christianne, 5 years old and Christina, 2 years old.

She is the Operations Manager of Rent-a-Tula PH which she launched in late 2014.

She has 12 units of Tula carriers which she rents out to parents. She also sells Amber necklace and other baby products that she used and worked effective for her children.

She is an advocate of babywearing and cloth-diapering.

We also asked her some questions regarding being a mom entrepreneur and her tips for mothers. Below are her answers.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I saw a lot of mommas who want to try or experience the comfort of Tula first before purchasing one since the carrier is expensive.

What’s the best part of being a mom entrepreneur?
I get a lot of kind words after they borrow my Tula. Some of my closest friends now are those I met because of babywearing particularly Tula.

What is the biggest challenge you faced as a mom entrepreneur? There were days that I don't have sleep at all.

How do you balance work and family time?
I don't know. Lol. I'm a workaholic too. I just make sure that I have quality time with my kids.

Any tips for moms thinking of starting a business?
Just start with products that work for you and your family. Look at the demand/need based on the groups that you are into then start from there.

What's your advise/message to new moms?
Spend as much time with your angels. Kiss them, hug them, play often.

What are your top 3 recommended must-haves for moms? Why?
1. Unli Funds - lol for shopping baby stuff
2. Tula - you can do household chores while you're close to your baby
3. Functional bag - to store all your baby stuff

Should you wish to try a Tula, you may get in touch with Lesly Piamonte via the Rent-a-Tula PH Facebook Page.
